Skydiving!

Hi all!

This weekend was a great weekend cos I did something which I have always wanted to do... skydive! yeah. Always wanted to try this adrenalin rush jump... :) something to add some excitement into my otherwise boring life heh.

So we went down to the skydiving centre on saturday with 2 of my housemates and ben whom i got to know through charlotte. So yea we went down but on our way there we were feeling reallytired... or maybe its just me lol. And we waited for so god damn long... haha its just like army ... sit and wait ... lol

anyway... its finally our turn... yeah! yunsong and ben went in first and they were telling us how uncomfortable the plane was...(the plane was very small... you wouldnt believe it could fly lol) anyway they were saying how small and uncomfortable the plane was that you just feel like jumping out! hahaa

but i found the plane quite ok lah.. the ride up was sooo good... the view was just fantastic... and you feel you are on top of the world... its super super super shiok lah! yeah

but then.... when the door opened and i saw amelia jump out all of a sudden i was scared shitless man! hahah they din count to three or anything... they just made us jump like that without warning! haha so all of a sudden amelia was gone... and its my turn! haha ok so i went... very reluctantly... dun wanna go down cos its so scary! and i din know where to hold on to.. until the instructor told me to cross my hands haha. yea den he just threw us out of the plane lol. And it was soooooo god damn scary! i was flipped up back right left... dunno where.. haha if u watch the vid carefully (yes! theres a video) you can see me flipping upside down.. and im crouching into the baby position! haha cos really scared lah lol

anyway it was really good... and i kept my eyes open all the way cos yun song and ben was telling us we have to keep them open to enjoy the view ... thats wat worth the money lol. yeah tats quite true but that also kept me quite scared cos i can see myself flipping all over lol. Anyway after the flipping it was real coooool man!

just unbelievably shiok lah... hahah and the part where i pulled on the control strings for the parachute... woooohoooooo... super super shiok to turn and turn around .. just like a roller coaster ride...just much much more fun lol

hahaha yeah .. anyway shall tok less cock..and u guys watch the videos and photos ok? hee remember to see my scareded face... (just before jumping off the plane.. dunno where to hold) hahah its hilarious.. i watch it many times liao still find it funny... hahah

River Festival and cheap movie

Yesterday was river festival... where they have fireworks in the city... at numerous places... and also this stunt where they have jet planes flying very low ... so low that its close to the river ... and they dump its jet fuel to burn it... so what you see its a whole trail of blazing fire behind the jet planes! Cool right!

haha yeah but i din go... sadded.... cos of some circumstances... we din go... so when the fireworks was on... we ran out to the ferry terminal near our place... and we saw the fireworks from there instead. Its not too bad actually cos from our position we could see the fireworks thats from 3 different places... i think one of them is at south bank, the second one is at kangaroo point and the last one is god knows where lol

yup and we saw the jetplanes as well.. with the trail of blazing fire... but we saw it in the sky.. not near to the river though... yup but thats quite cool also... everyone was like "wooooooohhhhhhh" lol

and den poor me was shivering under the cold weather (cos i just ran out of the house... din get any jacket)....

Cheap movie
Went to meet up with ber todya to get my ipod and had a short lunch b4 heading back home. actually was planning to go recee toowoomba with her but she said they were tired from the plane ride ... yea so i headed back home...

felt quite bo liao .. and sianz also esp after the chat with chua.... so decided to head out and see what's there to do... so me and hannah went to indooroopilly ... intended to watch a movie there but realised theres no concession on weekends at indooroopilly as well... so we took a bus to south bank instead. Actually we had no idea where the cinema is ... we just headed down blindly ... with no real intention of watching a movie anymore... den we did find the place! haha and its cheap! lol
its 5 bucks on a sunday on concession... yah and thats the cheapest rate liao. :) its cheaper on sundays than any other day ...lol yeah no idea why though...

so we got the tickets for red eye... and it turned out to be a nice show! lol

yea so our impromptu-ness actually got us quite an enjoyable evening.

alright tomorrow back to sch and gym day :) my mum called me just now and told me i better not come back home thinner than i was... heh so.. yea i better get myself buffed up :) lol

anyway i'm actually on quite a healthy lifestyle here... i try to go gym and swim once every week... gym on mondays and swim on thursdays... not bad right lol.. consdering i dun do that in spore.... and i have to pay much more here than in spore... hmm come to think of it.. what the heck am i paying for services which i dun normally do and is cheaper than in spore??? lol

Australia Zoo

Hi peeps! went to this aus zoo last week... its that steve irwin zoo... yeah the croc guy we always see on tv. But then he wasnt there when he went. Heard he seldom there... but when hes there there will be announcements and stuffs.. heh wats the big deal right.... and they even had a mascot of him walking ard... hahah

ok anyway we went together with the student abroad club guys so it was quite cheap ... theres koalas... kangaroos... (yea... lol how not to have kangaroos right) den saw wombats... they are really cute ... just like a huge hamster lol. Then there are quite a few birds.... yup all very interesting and fun...

we went for this bird cum croc cum tiger cum snake show... heh not too bad lah. Free entertainment for 1 hr plus... heh

After the zoo thingy we went to mooloolaba... ITS SUCH A NICE PLACE!!! haha anyone whos in brisbane shld def go there. Its a beach... laid back... not too crowded ... and there are shops behind the beach.. not too many like those in gold coast that makes it so commercial ... just enuff to provide some simple amenities and services. Den you see lots of people walking their dogs.... such a relaxed and peaceful like lah. And the sea is def nicer than gold coast... the waves are much bigger ... though not as strong as the ones they had in bintan...

yeah so its a damn nice place... and we even saw rainbows... :) cool right! took some pictures ... but damn lazy to post them... will do that in a while... when i have more free time

went to the theme park called australia world... thats so pathetic cos theres no one... but its kinda cool in a way cos its desserted.... and its like those old sch theme parks... yeah so nice in a way lah

yup then we went to a pub called the ettamough?? something like that forgot liaio lol. played a few games abt australia and its culture.. (organised by the student abroad ppl) ... eh realised i dunno anything abt aus except the travelling bit lol. well........ thats alright... lol

ok thats all for this post... next post shall be on movie again! cheap movie :) and the river festival which I din go ... sadded
