A sudden craving for ecp

Dunno why... just haf this urge to go ecp. Prob will go down next week or something...

Went down to bugis for a haircut on fri after work. The hairstylist name was steven cai... which is very very very similar to my boss lol. My boss's chai. Heh wat luck. Din really like the cut though lol.

Anyway met up with zann and king after the haircut. Realised zann's having some problems with her jap pm again... Haiz... very tough working with such ppl. Thru our discussions, we realised perhaps we really need to train up our eq skills... or can it even be trained in the first place? lol

I have this colleague of mine which i think she's very good with her work. Good memory and handles her job well. And most importantly, she has this ability to handle bitchy ppl well. When she has a conflict in views with other colleagues, she just knows how to handle them well and fast! Just saw how she handled this manager from another department last week.... and i must say she's very zai lol. Quick thinking!

As for me... I guess I belong to those who will flare up very easily. Very defensive and hot tempered... And bcos of that, I sort of got my colleague into some trouble... haiz... she had to go in and listen to nearly an hr of "nian4 jing1" from one of the stupid manager cos that stupid manager not happy with me. LoL come to think of it.. he's quite a loser eh... why "nian jing" to my colleague when she din do anything HAha ... Wan to nian jing shld come find me mah lol ... Heh

Eh... I know I somehow have to change it.. but its very hard leh... ;) Maybe things will get better with more experience. (Same to zann also ;) Ai zai take it easy man.... later high blood not worth it.)

Inspired

Went swimming today. Sun was good and the swim was good as well lol. Its been some time since I've swam.

Anyway went to the pasar malam near my place b4 heading home. Saw this girl ard 12 yrd old... who was buying some bubble tea kinda drink. She din really look totally excited but you could tell that she's has this very happy look when the drink was ready. :) Her mum was around as well.... She looks just so at peace with herself and contented ... just by hafing that drink. I felt happy for her.

I guess ppl tend to feel less and less contented with what they have as they age. Can you remember that time when u were brought to MacDonald's for a meal? How happy and excited you were? Or the time when ur mum bought you an ice-cream? Why dun we feel the same now? I doubt I will never be contented with my life... but i will try ;) And thats the road to happiness i guess.

Tired Weekend

Its a long weekend :)

But its a long n tired one lol... albeit not a bad one. Met up with most of my frens during this long weekend heh. Went for tuition in the morning on fri den met up with my ns frens for lunch... shopped ard for a short while b4 they went to ktv... cos one of them saw his ex-date... lol

I din go wif them cos will be meeting rc frens in the afternoon n i can;t sing for nuts... lol... so ... pls dun ask me go wat ktv next time.... so went shop ard den saw ryan and this beau gal at kino. ;) He claims shes a fren.... but.... lol... HAha only he will know. keke for more details go bug him! opps... sorry ryan lol

wanted to buy a sketch book and a3 file for IF2208... but kino's too ex liao.. me qiong shu sheng decided to go popular... but b4 i went i bought a brisbane gold coast guide... lol with the map... costs 20 over dollars ... extra broke

went popular to get my stuffs... n that lj is taking forever to reach... so i took my time to choose the things. She finally reached den complain traffic jam.. well i shld be the one complaining cos i waited so long lol... but den me being mr nice... haha didn't say anything

went to coffee club express... 2nd time in the week liao... (extra extra broke) bought coffee... chatted with lj... studied my brisbane map... but !!!! can't find UQ!!!!!! ....... up till now also dunno why.. maybe i bought the wrong map... wasted my 20 bucks

den waited for leen to come... she arrived den we bought some desserts... their triple dunno wat sux.. pls dun buy.... its extra extra sweeet.... n the brownie... cmi

den went to shop ard... ard ... ard... ard.... till very tired... den they very hao xin... cos they pei me to ps till 11... cos me meeting sec sch frens for a movie... (extra extra extra broke) so the two very hao xin ren went to ps caftel wif me to makan... though i think they also very tired liao...

ok den went to watch tt movie.. initially was very tired n prob tot i will fall asleep... but then the movie's really good. very touching... super nice... so inspired by the movie.. went home to check up on the internet on that story and tried dling the soundtrack.. but cant find it

woke up.. saw clara on msn.. asked me to go coffee with kel... so i went. tot coffee onli... but kel wanted to shop.... die... shop somemore... so off i went to suntec.. bugis.. orchard... kel's a super shopper... wun tired one... when i was in kino ... (ya i went back again)... was feeling kinda dizzy... so many ppl... n was trying to find kel n clara so was walking round n round.... so decided to go eat first ...

so makan at coffee club .. yes again... (broke broke broke lol...) cos its just beside us... very fang bian haha. I just wanted to stop kel from shopping somemore.. den i can sit down also haha

Pay increment

My boss gave me a pay increment yesterday... not really he gif... but i requested for it...

I asked my boss sometime last week for the increment and he said he needs to think abt it...

Yesterday was the pay processing day.. and he din get back to me... wanted to ask him... but he was out of office.... So I tot there goes my increment...

Den he called me... to ask for some stuffs regarding his meeting's venue.... i told him ... den he asked me to pass the phone to an outsource gal whos supposed to key in the pay stuffs.... (at that time I tot it was just some routine reminders my boss was telling her such as value date lah blah blah blah... - my boss's very losoh one)

Den I forgot to ask him abt my pay.... So i was really si xin le

Den he called another outsourced IT guy.... and that IT guy happens to be beside me only... so i told that IT guy to ask my boss abt my pay.... That IT guy passed me the phone....

"Hello... steven ah (my boss).... how abt my pay har?"
"You go and look at your pay slip later loh"
"Har? what pay slip?"
"What other pay slip is there?"
"Means theres no adjustment ah?"
"$%%@* Of cos got lah"
"Oh but you got enter the new pay for me meh?" (Cos I'm the one taking charge of the pay system... so I dun think he entered my new pay)

After work went to meet dinner at holland V with the sportzmania guys...
had a good dinner... (ok lah actually dun really like e crystal jade there but since its free.... haha i can make do with it lol)

Its been hell these few weeks... preparing my application for sep is already quite bad b'cos of the short time given... Luckily theres this ver nice lady (Daphne) from Jurong West POSB Branch.

Heres the whole story....

Me Mr goondu needs to get this letter called certification of financial resources. But there needs to be 10k in my account b4 i can get the bank to certify it... 10k.... where the hell to find rite...
I approached my mum n dad... they allowed me to "borrow" that amt ... so went to do several transfers... actually the number of transfers done was too many tt i lost count.... but all the transfers was done to my dad's account cos I wanted to use his account as a certification

Anyway... after transfering.. i went to the bank to ask for more details... was told that they need 3 working days... and my dad cannot make it in time ... so decided to transfer all the money to my account. But theres a limit to the amount that we can transfer per day - S$5,000.00. So decided to make a transfer that day... den wait for the next day to transfer again...

So the next morning... woke up super early to go transfer tt money b4 work... so this Mr goondu tot everything has been settled... But then... Daphne (the bank teller from POSB) called while i was working... (being scolded by by boss also cos of some salary calculation mistake). She called to say theres only 5k in my account....

So I was quite pissed at that time.. my boss wanted me to calculate some stuffs urgently yet I needed to know what happened to the money that I've transferred... My boss came to know abt this n he told me to go check my account... (actually hes not too bad also rite lol) which I went down my office to check...

Realised i transfered to a wrong acc.. I tot i transfered to another person already... So goondu got gan cheong so called up daphne again... after some checks realised its my mum's acc!! LOL

But I dun haf my mum's card to make the transfer back to my account .... How how??

So made a call to my bro.. he say he dun haf tt money also.... so was super sianz during lunch...
Then in the midst of my nasi lemak... pulling a long face... troubled over wat to do.... my bro called to say he got tt money (cos his gf's sis owe her some money.. so my bro's gf asked her sis to return her the money).... :)

yea!! Super happy....

Fed up with the registration

NUS's so damn screwed up.....
Things keep changing and changing... Tut slots are like this one moment and the next day u go in it has changed.... And the change always seems to be affecting me.... Damn f!!!!

Registration for this sem is like so messed up... Modules can be delisted after we got that module... (though this is prob of no fault of that lecturer) .... Tut slots keep changing like nobody's business.... Essentials mods have only 2 vacancies for majoring students.... Then MA's the worse... tut slots are not up early... and when they are up.. none of them fits my timetable.. all clashes... emailed that damn lecturer.. he says the slots are based on recommendation by soc staffs to suit soc students.... and he will not be opening any more classes cos of the small class size... ok..... den i go eat shit loh

Ok....Enuff of venting my frustration with this Americanised National University of Singapore aka No Use School.... World class indeed...

Anyway good news now.... *drum rolls.... I'm gg for exchange program next semester!! yea... Will be going to University of Queensland next semester... Hahah... Damn exciting... then can meet boo or wx over there... and maybe daven as well if hes gg for his training :) But.... the whole things not really confirmed yet cos still got to apply to UQ ... den wait for their confirmation b4 I can really say I'm gg lol

Heh... at least something to look forward to other than this god damn world class uni. Yah n special thanks to ryan for advising me on all the procedures for the exchange... lol cos he's gg there this feb... :) All the best! Rem to ask ur friends there to look out for me the following sem! lol

Bintan trip

A totally nua trip... Lol Just the way I like it to be ;)
Had a great time there .. basically just nuaing away lol
The beach there is like sooo nice... Huge waves... Strong wind... Nice scenery... I can just spend my whole day lazing at the beach.... wooohoooo

One thing's a pity though... Can;t try the seasports cos of the weather... the only seasports available when i went was windsurfing... n that was like 7 times more expensive than spore (according to our windsurf experts heh)... so in the end din go

So in the end went for a walk ... swam in the pool which was so freaking cold... its so cold that u can feel it in the bones... lol .. or maybe cos i no meat.. tts why so damn cold hhaha

Well I guess it a good trip :) A nice one b4 sch starts... N yah mus thank lj for organising eh... n u shldn't retire! ;) lol Take care peeps

Things didn;t go well for the mod registration also. Was told my lx that if I really want to take IF2208 (Principles of visual communication) its better to take it this sem... cos need that as a pre-req for other mods...

Problem is... I couldn't get that mod... theres only 2 vacancies.. and lx got one of them... the other one is dunno who.. think lx's friend also.... So I emailed that lecturer to appeal... called him to appeal also... den log in to cors to appeal as well....

Dunno how things will go... If cannot get... I might haf to take 4 mods this sem....
Good? Bad??? I think its more bad den good.... Fan nao...

I got myself a great new yr present!

HEy all! I got myself a new yr present lol... O2 Xda IIs!! Yeah haha ... its so damn nice... but there's a long story behind it.

I decided to get that phone yesterday. So called up all those harvey norman, best denki (Heard best denki got gd service) and courts stores to check whether they have stocks for the pda. Well apparently that pda is so hot that alot of the stores have no more stocks. (Btw they just released the new stocks a few days ago)

Felt so miserable... den... This harvey norman guy from west mall told me there are stocks at parkway parade. They told me to gif them a call b4 gg... which i did.

"Hello.. can i check if you still have stocks for the o2 xda IIs?"
"IIs or mini?"
"IIs"
"wait let me check...."

2 to 3 mins gone....
"yes we do have them"
"oh good! can i go down to purchase them later or next morning? Are there alot of stocks left?"
"Sure you can. No problem"

Wah den happy... went back for dinner b4 driving down to parkway parade.
Reached parkway parade.... went to look for the pda section... asked that guy if there are stocks for the 02 XDA IIs.... he said gif him a min.. he will check
for me.

"Sorry sir... there are no more stocks left"

After ten mins... still no one came.. wanted to go back to that gal but shes bz wif some other customers... was so fed up wif the service that i'm getting that i decided to trash things out with the people at harvey norman... BLOOD BOIL....

So i went back to the harvey norman again to look for the guy...
"Can i talk to your manager or supervisor please..."
"ok hes there "
"yes sir can i help you?"
So i told him everything again... complain complain
"Den he said .. hmm... but all the sets are on reserve"

Den off he went to some comp to check things... called some ppl...
After ten to fifteen mins...
He came back...

conclusion????
Spore has such damn f***** up service!
But anyways... I got my pda!!!! YEa!!!!!
